Silencers

Silencers of steam discharges, flue gases, air ducts. Soundproof cabins.

Silencers are used in thermal power plants, heating plants, boiler plants, steam pipelines, process pipelines of chemical and petrochemical industries. Installed on pipelines, vessels, and other objects under internal pressure. Used to dampen the noise generated by blowing or venting high pressure steam.

Silencers are installed at thermal power facilities in order to implement two main functions:

• maximum noise suppression due to the organization of low-noise low-speed throttling of the flow
• isolation of noise generated in the flow control zone on the way of its propagation into the atmosphere
