Mine fans for local ventilation are designed for ventilation of dead-end mine workings in mines, including hazardous ones for gas and dust, with an air density of up to 1.3 kg / m, at a temperature of -20 C to +35 C, dust content up to 50 mg / m and relative humidity up to 95% (at a temperature of +25 C). Aerodynamic characteristics allow the fan to be used in relatively small blind workings. Explosion protection is ensured by the use of explosion-proof electric motors, the shells of which correspond to the IP54 design.
The control of the total pressure developed by the fan in the working area is carried out by turning the impeller blades when the fan is stopped. The casing contains a straightener that straightens the air flow and increases the total fan pressure. Air inlet condition manifold, increase total pressure, reduce fan noise. The fan is connected to the stack of pipes using a pipe. For the convenience of transportation and installation, the fan is fixed on a skid and has loops on the body, allowing it to be suspended from the roof of the mine.
