The cyclone is an inertial dust collector, in which the release of particles from the air (gas) environment occurs mainly under the influence of centrifugal force arising from the rotation of the air flow in the body of the apparatus. Dust-laden air enters the cyclone through the tangential branch pipe and, acquiring a rotational motion, descends helically along the inner walls of the cylinder and cone.
In the central zone of the cyclone, the air flow, free from dust, rises in a helical manner and is removed through the exhaust pipe to the outside.
Cyclone LIOT is used for rough and medium air cleaning from dry non-sticking non-fibrous dust. Air cleaning from dust is carried out under the action of centrifugal forces.
