Roof fans are installed on the roofs of buildings and provide a direct supply of outdoor air from the overhead space to the staircase and elevator areas, creating overpressure in these areas and preventing smoke from entering these rooms. This simplifies the ventilation system and frees up the working space on the technical floor.
In VOKP roof fans, VO 25-188, VO 30-160 fans are used as axial fans. The type and number of the fan depends on the required parameters. The inlet part of the unit is made in the form of an inlet shaft that prevents atmospheric precipitation from entering the fan and the serviced room. The shape and dimensions of this shaft have been chosen in such a way as to ensure a uniform flow in front of the fan and to reduce pressure losses.
